fbmplay Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains exactly what personal data fbmplay collects from Filipino players, why we collect it, how we protect it, and what rights you have over your own information under Philippine law.
📅 Last Updated: January 2026How fbmplay Treats Your Personal Data 🔒
Six core principles that guide every data decision we make at fbmplay — built around the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and PAGCOR's player protection standards.
Purpose Limitation
fbmplay collects only the personal data that is necessary for operating a licensed online gaming platform in the Philippines. We do not collect data for the sake of it — every data point we hold has a defined, documented purpose tied to your account, your transactions, or our regulatory obligations.
Security-First Storage
Player data held by fbmplay is protected by industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. Access to personally identifiable information is restricted to authorised fbmplay personnel on a strict need-to-know basis. We conduct regular security reviews of our data storage and access controls.
No Selling of Your Data
fbmplay does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to unaffiliated third parties for their marketing or commercial purposes. Your data is shared only where required by law, with our licensed payment processors, or with certified game providers in connection with delivering the games you play.
Philippine Law Compliance
This Privacy Policy is built around the Republic Act No. 10173 — the Data Privacy Act of 2012 — and its Implementing Rules and Regulations. fbmplay is registered with and subject to the oversight of the National Privacy Commission (NPC) of the Philippines, in addition to PAGCOR's player data requirements.
Your Rights Are Real
As a data subject under Philippine law, you have enforceable rights over your own information — including the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your data. fbmplay has a process for handling every one of these requests, and we are committed to responding within the timelines prescribed by law.
Transparent & Up-to-Date
When fbmplay makes material changes to how we handle your data, we will notify you via your registered email before those changes take effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy always reflects when this document was most recently revised, so you are never left guessing.
Important: This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how fbmplay ("fbmplay", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information about you ("Player", "User", "you") when you access or use the fbmplay online gaming platform at fbmplay.pro. By registering an account or using the fbmplay platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. Please read it carefully alongside our Terms & Conditions .
1 Introduction
1.1 fbmplay is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of every player on our platform. This Policy has been prepared in accordance with Republic Act No. 10173, the Data Privacy Act of 2012 ("DPA"), its Implementing Rules and Regulations ("IRR"), and all applicable issuances of the National Privacy Commission ("NPC") of the Philippines.
1.2 fbmplay also complies with applicable data handling requirements issued by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation ("PAGCOR") in connection with our licensed online gaming operations. Where PAGCOR requirements impose a higher standard than the DPA's baseline, fbmplay applies the higher standard.
1.3 This Policy applies to all personal data collected through the fbmplay website at fbmplay.pro, the fbmplay mobile application, any fbmplay promotional communications you receive, and any interactions you have with fbmplay player support. It applies whether you are a registered account holder or merely a visitor browsing the platform.
1.4 Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Policy have the meanings given to them in the fbmplay Terms & Conditions.
2 Data Controller
2.1 For the purposes of the Data Privacy Act of 2012, fbmplay is the Personal Information Controller in respect of the personal data of players and platform visitors. This means fbmplay determines the purposes for which, and the manner in which, your personal data is processed.
2.2 fbmplay has appointed a Data Protection Officer ("DPO") who is responsible for overseeing compliance with this Policy and the DPA. Contact details for the fbmplay DPO are provided in Section 14 of this Policy.
2.3 Where fbmplay engages third-party service providers to process personal data on its behalf (for example, payment processors or KYC verification providers), those parties act as Personal Information Processors under the DPA and are bound by written data processing agreements that require them to process your data only on fbmplay's documented instructions and in accordance with applicable law.
3 Personal Data We Collect
fbmplay collects the following categories of personal data about you:
| Category | Examples | When Collected |
|---|---|---|
| Identity Data | Full legal name, date of birth, nationality, government ID type and number | Registration & KYC verification |
| Contact Data | Email address, Philippine mobile number, residential address | Registration & account updates |
| Financial Data | GCash or PayMaya account reference, BPI / BDO / Metrobank account details (partial, masked), deposit and withdrawal history | Payment processing |

| Responsible Gaming Data | Deposit limit settings, cooling-off status, self-exclusion records | Responsible gaming tool usage |
fbmplay does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information as defined under Section 3(l) of the DPA (such as health data, religious beliefs, or political affiliations) unless you voluntarily provide such information in the context of a responsible gaming or support interaction, in which case it will be treated with the heightened protections required by law.
4 How We Collect Your Data
fbmplay collects personal data through the following means:
- Direct collection: Information you provide when registering an account, completing KYC verification, making a deposit or withdrawal, contacting player support, or participating in a promotion.
- Automated collection: Technical and usage data collected automatically when you access the fbmplay platform, including via cookies, web beacons, log files, and similar tracking technologies (see Section 9).
- Third-party sources: Identity verification data received from licensed KYC and anti-money laundering service providers in connection with our regulatory compliance obligations; payment confirmation data received from GCash, PayMaya, BPI, BDO, Metrobank, InstaPay, or PESONet in connection with your transactions.
- Regulatory sources: Information that PAGCOR or other Philippine regulatory bodies may share with fbmplay in connection with licensing, compliance, or investigation matters.
5 How We Use Your Personal Data
fbmplay uses your personal data for the following purposes:
- Account management: Creating, verifying, maintaining, and securing your fbmplay player account, including identity and age verification to confirm you are 21 years of age or above.
- Gaming services: Enabling you to access and participate in the games and services offered on the fbmplay platform, tracking your gaming history, and processing your wagers and winnings.
- Financial transactions: Processing deposits, withdrawals, and bonus credits to and from your account via your selected payment method (GCash, PayMaya, BPI, BDO, Metrobank, InstaPay, or PESONet).
- Regulatory compliance: Fulfilling fbmplay's legal obligations under the DPA, the Anti-Money Laundering Act (RA 9160, as amended), PAGCOR licensing requirements, AMLC reporting obligations, and any other applicable Philippine law or regulation.
- Responsible gaming: Monitoring gaming behaviour for indicators of problem gambling, administering deposit limits, cooling-off periods, and self-exclusion requests, and communicating responsible gaming information where appropriate.

- Customer support: Responding to your inquiries, resolving disputes, and providing technical assistance.
- Marketing communications: Sending you promotional offers and updates about fbmplay games and services, where you have consented to receive such communications. You may opt out at any time by contacting player support.
- Platform improvement: Analyzing aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve the fbmplay platform, optimize game performance, and enhance the player experience.
6 Legal Basis for Processing
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, fbmplay processes your personal data on the following legal bases:
- Contractual necessity: Processing required to perform our obligations under the fbmplay Terms & Conditions — including account creation, gameplay, and payment processing.
- Legal obligation: Processing required to comply with applicable Philippine laws, including anti-money laundering legislation, PAGCOR licensing requirements, NPC regulations, and tax reporting obligations.
- Legitimate interests: Processing necessary for fbmplay's legitimate interests in fraud prevention, platform security, and responsible gaming compliance, where those interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.
- Consent: Processing based on your freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent — primarily for direct marketing communications and, where applicable, for the processing of sensitive personal information.
Where fbmplay relies on consent as the legal basis for processing, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of any processing carried out prior to withdrawal.
7 Sharing Your Personal Data
7.1 fbmplay does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any unaffiliated third party for commercial purposes. We share personal data only in the following circumstances:
- Regulatory and law enforcement authorities: PAGCOR, the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC), the National Privacy Commission (NPC), the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), and any other Philippine government body with a lawful basis for requesting your data.
- Licensed payment service providers: GCash (Mynt), PayMaya (Voyager Innovations), BPI, BDO, Metrobank, and other payment networks strictly to the extent necessary to process your deposits and withdrawals.
- KYC and identity verification providers: Third-party identity verification and anti-money laundering screening services engaged by fbmplay to fulfill its PAGCOR and AMLC compliance obligations.
- Certified game providers: Game studios and live casino operators whose games are available on the fbmplay platform, strictly to the extent necessary to deliver the gaming service and maintain game integrity records.
- Technology and infrastructure providers: Cloud hosting, cybersecurity, and platform technology providers who process data on fbmplay's behalf under binding data processing agreements.
- Professional advisers: Legal counsel, auditors, and compliance consultants, subject to professional confidentiality obligations.
7.2 All third parties with whom fbmplay shares personal data are required by contract to implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures and to process your data solely in accordance with fbmplay's documented instructions and applicable Philippine law.
7.3 Cross-border transfers. Where fbmplay transfers personal data outside the Philippines (for example, to cloud infrastructure providers with servers in other countries), fbmplay takes all reasonable steps required under Section 21 of the DPA and NPC guidelines to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection, including through the use of approved contractual safeguards.
8 Data Retention
8.1 fbmplay retains your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, accounting, or reporting requirements.
8.2 In particular, fbmplay is required under the Anti-Money Laundering Act and PAGCOR regulations to retain transaction records and KYC documentation for a minimum period after account closure. Specific retention periods applicable to different categories of data are documented in fbmplay's internal Data Retention Schedule.
8.3 When your personal data is no longer required for any lawful purpose, fbmplay will securely delete or anonymize it in accordance with industry-standard data disposal practices. Anonymized data — which can no longer be linked to you as an individual — may be retained indefinitely for statistical and platform improvement purposes.
- Active account data: Retained for the duration of your account plus the post-closure regulatory hold period
- Transaction and KYC records: Minimum 5 years from the date of the transaction, per AMLC requirements
- Support communications: Up to 3 years from the date of the interaction
- Marketing consent records: Until consent is withdrawn plus 1 year
9 Cookies & Tracking Technologies
9.1 fbmplay uses cookies and similar tracking technologies (including web beacons and local storage) on the fbmplay platform. Cookies are small data files stored on your device that help us recognize you, maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyze how the platform is used.
9.2 fbmplay uses the following categories of cookies:
- Strictly necessary cookies: Essential for the platform to function. These include session authentication cookies that keep you logged in during your gaming session. These cannot be disabled without breaking core platform functionality.
- Functional cookies: Remember your preferences (such as language and display settings) to personalize your experience on the platform.
- Analytics cookies: Collect anonymized, aggregated data about how players use the fbmplay platform, which pages are visited most frequently, and where errors occur. This data is used solely to improve the platform.
- Security cookies: Used to detect and prevent fraudulent activity, bot access, and other security threats to the platform and your account.
9.3 You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling certain cookies (particularly strictly necessary cookies) may prevent you from using core features of the fbmplay platform, including logging into your account.
10 Data Security
10.1 fbmplay implements comprehensive technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, accidental loss, destruction, alteration, or disclosure. These measures include:

- Staff training on data privacy obligations and security best practices.
10.2 In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in serious harm to affected data subjects, fbmplay will notify the National Privacy Commission within seventy-two (72) hours of becoming aware of the breach, and will notify affected players without undue delay, in accordance with Section 20(f) of the DPA and relevant NPC circulars.
10.3 While fbmplay takes all reasonable measures to protect your data, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for notifying fbmplay immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Right to Erasure
You may request that fbmplay delete your personal data where it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, where you have withdrawn consent, or where the processing is unlawful. Note that fbmplay may be required to retain certain data by law (see Section 8) even after an erasure request is submitted.
Right to Object
You have the right to object to fbmplay processing your personal data for direct marketing purposes. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests where you believe your rights and freedoms override those interests. fbmplay will consider and respond to all objection requests in writing.

12.2 If fbmplay becomes aware that it has inadvertently collected personal data from an individual who is under 21 years of age, fbmplay will immediately suspend the relevant account, delete the associated personal data to the extent permissible by law, and report the matter in accordance with applicable PAGCOR requirements.

13.2 Where a change to this Policy is material — meaning it significantly affects how we collect, use, or share your personal data — fbmplay will provide at least fourteen (14) days' advance notice via the email address registered to your account before the revised Policy takes effect.
13.3 Your continued use of the fbmplay platform after the effective date of any revised Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the revised Policy, you must stop using the platform and may request account closure by contacting player support.
